Hiking again - and Happy New Year
Posted By: volley, 12-31-2013, 04:10 AM

In an attempt to get rid of some of the Calories I've collected over Christmas I went hiking again for a few hours through a nearby mountain area.
I have a feeling I need to repeat this exercise a few more times - we'll have friends visiting us to celebrate "Silvester" and this means a lot of food and drinks again this evening

Let me take this opportunity to wish all of you a Happy New Year! All the best for 2014.

... and finally playing with some tilt-shift effects (4/16-45 again)

Norbert, such beautiful scenery in your photos, great SS. On my hikes in the desert it is mainly brown so seeing the greens makes me want to revisit the forest landscapes and rivers again. A truly inspirational series of photos to view. Bob

Thanks Bob! The landscape actually should be covered with a lot of snow at this time of the year but temperatures are still above freezing.
