the Angelic Hummingbird
Lens: 70mm Camera: Kx Photo Location: Colorado

Took the photo in b/w, not sure if it makes much difference than converting from color, but I liked the results of the shot.

Black and white has a completely different feel than colour. This is gorgeous Bob. Wonderful to view!!!

Hey buddy - I think you should be especially proud of this shot with its soft, ephemeral texture. To be honest, hummingbird shots generally all look alike to me, but this one breaks some new ground - have a cold one on me (you can send me the bill).

I didn't realize you have a DA 70 - I use mine all the time.

It did turn out soft which I think added to be image. The light was just right hitting the back portion of the bird. thanks for viewing and the positive comment.

You're too kind my friend, but I will sure take the compliment. I'm having a Bud light as I write, it is a diet drink is what I tell Terri. Love the 70 and the 43 primes both always go with me and they always make my photos better than they actually are.

Great one Bob! Lots of hummingbird photos everywhere, but this is the first I recall seeing in B&W.
