Yes I think so the famous Citroen traction avant 15/6, which was produced by the French manufacturer Citroën from 1934 to 1957.

It's an early 1950s version of the Onze Légère (Light 15 in Britain) Traction Avant. This is a French-built version of the smaller-bodied 4-cylinder model. The right-hand drive models assembled in the UK had a higher standard of interior fittings than the French ones. The Algerian climate has actually kept this one in reasonably sound bodily condition (they're one of the first examples of chassisless construction, so rust can be an issue, but there's no visible sag between the doors, where it first appears). There's a whole minor industry devoted to restoring these cars, principally in the UK and Holland. The owner would no doubt be pleased to sell it to a restorer.

Edit: that third photo caused me to look a bit closer. I now think it's the larger-bodied Onze Normale (Big 15), but I don't believe it's the six-cylinder version, as the gearbox is visible through the radiator grille, and it looks to be too small for the six. As you might gather, I've had a number if these cars in the past.

Hi

The French left a lot of those behind in Vietnam and even now they are being used everyday and a lot of them are in good nick.

Greetings

The tail light assemblies look just like the ones used on the Volkswagen Beetle.

You may well be right. There are a few bits that don't belong.
