Fun at the Airport
Lens: Pentax-M 28 & 50 Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Charleston, WV ISO: 1600 Aperture: F5.6

Putting the K-30 through its paces pre-dawn at work this morning. 9F and a brisk wind out on the balcony. First pic with SMC Pentax-M 28/2.8, others with SMC Pentax-M 50/1.7. Note the plane on final in #1. All pics at ISO 1600 and f/5.6, varying shutter speeds.

Nice shots, Tony. I take photos of planes in airports too, but my life keeps stretching the distance from the nearest one and the economy has kept me from traveling by air for a while know. I own a 28mm f2.8 M lens as well, but mine has 'lazy diaphragm' disease. Anyways, enjoy.

Nice compositions. I really like the lighting in these photos. The last photo, that's the first plane I've seen with snow on the "windshield."

Thanks Michael and Susan. We've had some nasty weather this month. I've been surprised myself watching some of the planes take off in that stuff.

Boy, those pics made me shudder. Flying in and out of that airport is interesting enough even when the weather is fine.
