Vermilion Lakes in the Rockies
Lens: DA* 16-50 Camera: K5 iis Photo Location: Banff, Alberta
Posted By: daacon, 01-06-2014, 06:50 AM

The three lakes are formed in the Bow River valley, in the Banff National Park, at the foot of Mount Norquay. A hot spring is found at the third lake leaving little pockets of open water your round.

Great landscapes, Dave, as usual. I particularly like #2 for the beautiful interplay of light and shadows.
