Cunard QM2 Easter Getaway
Posted By: bigben91682, 04-09-2008, 04:54 PM

I had the opportunity to sail on the Queen Mary 2, one of the larges liners in the world, this past easter weekend. Sailed from NYC, 2 full days at sea and a day in the Bahamas. Needless to say some nice photo opportunities...

Sunrise over Brooklyn

Spare prop blades on deck

The Bridge

Great series! You really have an eye for artistic shots. For some reason I really like the one of the deck chairs. (I won't tell anyone you used a Canon camera! )

Yeah, that was with the little P&S I carried with me the whole time. We were on our way to dinner so I wasn't expecting to be taking pictures but I liked it enough that I had to throw it in....

fantastic. I like them all. But the lady is a bit compressed. She needs the space of a wide angle. But it is a perspective I haven't seen before!

I appreciate all the kind remarks, it was a great trip in terms of photo opportunities and all around nice time.

After 3 days I had taken over 1000 shots which I was able to narrow down to about 100 for my website where you can see the rest of the trip if you are curious...

After all that processing I'm just now noticing a few spots of sensor dust I missed... :-/
