After Winter Storm Hercules
Camera: K5 Photo Location: Around the Saugus area
Posted By: charliezap, 01-06-2014, 09:03 AM

Hi folks. Now that the holidays have come and gone along with Winter Storm Hercules I can get back into somewhat of a normal routine again. It seems like eons since I posted anything. The storm deposited 10" of snow here in Saugus. 10 miles away in Boxford Ma. they got 24".All during the storm the temps were in the single numbers and the snow was like dust. After the storm that night it got down to minus 10 degs making it the coldest temperature that I've ever seen here in Saugus Ma.--charliezap

Wow, Capn - this is truly a great winter series: sharp, clear photos with color and, in some cases, drama. Very good stuff, my friend. The B&W one especially is outstanding.

This has been a stinker of a winter - even for us. A low of 20F is predicted for tonight - pretty tough for SE Texas . Fortunately, high near 70 are predicted in a couple of days .

A real nice series of images here Charlie, the first and the fourth are my favourites but the are all very good. I get cold looking at # 3, glad that the storm is over and things return to sort of normal.
