my newest, high tech camera gear
Posted By: little laker, 04-09-2008, 11:36 PM

After last weekends marathon of paid events I decided that I could head into the ultra high buck or 2 store and buy a new piece of high tech camera equipment.

After the taxes it cost me a whopping 112 Canadian pennies

However I'm sure that it'll be worth it during the macro and closeup season

Here's a photo of it beside tomorrows lunch

Before you laugh too hard at it you might want to wait until tomorrow and see how it'll improve my closeup pic's.

The city workers were busy planting flowers today, so if the weathers decent you know whre I'll be spending some time with both my cameras

But I like the lighting better than the last few attempts. This is quite a modern sleek looking.

Let me guess Stu. You're gonna spray flowers? Otherwise, I don't get it.

You got it JC, I was just having fun with it.

And hinting that useful equipment doesn't always cost a bundle

Hey Stu - pretty extravagant - I'm sure I can't afford one, but maybe Beach Camera offers a "watered down" version (sorry).

lol, Thanks Jer

I had a chance to use it today, and see that I'll have to invest in another piece of high tech equipment. In the form on an eye dropper.
A spray worked with hairless flowers, but was too much on their hairy brothers and sisters. Where as a single well placed drop would have been perfect

Oh well, live and learn

Where will the BIG BUDGET expenses end

I'll be posting some macros and closeups soon, both with and without the water on

Stu, I don't know about the eye-dropper but sure would like to know where he got the dropper he used for his great droplet series.
