Conversions of some of the images in the colour series and a few more, plus a bit of mucking about with toning:

These are some good images. I especially like the first two. Very good.

That's a great reworking of those captures--the first and "Crow in Tree" would make excellent book jacket cover art. Are you using a particular plug-in for your monochrome conversions, or are you working just with LR and/or Photoshop?

Great set of images with the first and the fifth one as my favorites. The light filtering down in the first one creates a nice vibe and the tree in the fifth is just at the right distance to dominate the scene without overpowering it.

Wow - these are great. I really like the first one as well as the fourth. The interesting part of the fourth image, to me anyway, is the lone bird (raven?) sitting atop the tree.

Those are just great, I would have a hard time picking a favorite. Looks like a place someone could get spooked at dusk and night time.

Don't think I saw the color series, and not sure I want to at this stage, as these conversions are fantastic.

Awesome set! Love the light filtering through the trees in #1 and the fog moving in with #6.

Beautifully done. I love the ominous, foreboding feel of the first one.
