Was out shooting some abandoned stuff again, this time I present you an abandoned railroad house. I don't know what it was for, it's right next to an unused railway.

A wonderful set--the post processing (especially of the overturned chair) really adds to a sense of narrative.

I looked at the phone book and saw ALCO and immediately thought, how appropriate - ALCO being a locomotive manufacturer. Then my wife told me mobel meant furniture.

haha, yeah, ALCO Möbel was a furniture warehouse nearby, I think it closed years ago though. I had a look at the phonebook after I took the photo but I couldn't find anything railroad related unfortunately. This place could need some new furniture anyway

Thanks you guys, I appreciate that!

Fascinating in the details as well as in the larger "stories." Very well-captured!

You've captured the melancholy nature of abandonment beautifully.

These are wonderful - they sure communicate the gloom of emptiness. Excellent stuff, for sure.

It looks what we call a "bothy", used for temporary overnight accommodation maybe for workers.

there was more to the building, it was bigger, but most of it is already is gone as you can see by the one wall that's left. In the last photo you can see on the far right side the room in which I have taken most of the pictures.
So I'm still unsure what it was for exactly.

I'll add to the praise. I really like what you did with the PP, the muted colors really add to the mood.
