Thanks and no problem. Although some of the photos are from when i first picked up the camera, i only just recently cleaned them up with lightroom

this may help, set your camera to TaV and increase your shutter speed to 250/sec and your aperture to around F10 your ISO may increase but should still be in pretty safe levels not to get too much noise. The shots you've produced are good but have camera blur and are not as sharp as they can be and the above may help to solve that problem.

Thanks eaglem. All those shots except the moon one have been on auto. My hand isnt all that steady so im sure the increase in shutter speed would really help.

A nice variety well done and don't understimate EM's advice a fast shutter speed can overcome quite a bit of shake , a tripod even more so ;-)

Yes, the tripod is a must as ive learned in the last few weeks. I guess once i get one ill have to learn when to use 1 and when to not. I do like a lot of action shots of my pets and i try to get as much wildlife as i can so any hints on when to use and not to would be great.
