We spent the weekend in Bisbee and the nearby Sweetwater Draw Conservation Area. Every winter around 20,000 Sandhill Cranes flock to the area to do what Cranes do.

Here's a handful of the group wondering why they can't get any privacy from the 100 or so photographers all pointing really large lenses at them.

This was taken with my Sigma 100-300 and Vivitar 14x TC.

The lasting impression from the photo shoot was their call. It sounded like a cross between a goose and a pigeon, and it echoed all around you.
