Some more samples from the 17 - 70
Posted By: dudlew, 04-11-2008, 07:36 PM

Hello

Had a chance this weekend to test the close focusing abilities of this little gem.

Took these shots with my K100D, shot in RAW, processed by Capture One 4 and the main adjustments were contrast, saturation, exposure compensation and levels.

Hope you like and enjoy!

Dudlew,

Love the light play with the water droplets in this series. The shallow depth of field used was perfect. Nice work, and thanks for showing off some examples with this lens.

Thanks spyglass. It had just rained that morning, and I thought that I might not get anyshots, but it held up long enough for me to shoot.

Thanks Scott, I am liking it alot. It hasn't left my camera since I got save one occasion where I wanted a longer focal length and used my 50 - 200.

Great series from a great lens

The cost of inflation meens that the owner of the web probably had to move out

Looks very good. Were these handheld. if so you did a great job with the limited DOF. Tough to hold the same position and not loose focus when the focused area is only a few mm. Very nice colour qualities as well. The web shot and the frirst 2 look great.
