The Ride to Psychedelia by ~tux08902 on deviantART

This was largely the result of some funky post-processing. Any comments appreciated.

That's the original image. At the Manhattan Auto Show, there was a miniature glass tunnel with these cars moving on a rail inside. I went up close and took that shot. After the post-processing, I had to crop out a lot from the left because all of that was blown out.

The colors blend together very well. I love that you used shades of the same colors. It all fits together nicely.

Thanks. I just wish some of the stuff wasn't blown out.

Thanks! It was a fairly simple procedure. I duplicated the base layer in GIMP. Then, I applied a 25 pixel motion blur to it. I move that layer to the bottom. Then, I changed the blending mode on the front one to Dodge. I got close to that, but it didn't have the right punch. So, I merged those layers and then adjusted the levels to get that. I was hoping the yellow at the top would've been stronger, but anything stronger would distort other colors.
