Photoelasticity
Lens: 18-55 Camera: K7 Photo Location: Edinburgh ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F11

A photo of the packaging my Xbox controller came in. Psychedelic photoelasticity effect obtained by using the monitor screen as a source of polarized light. I rotated the polarizing filter until the background (screen) became black.

Very clever!! Looks cool, too. You can do a whole series, finding interesting packaging and angles Then sell to some company, product marketing or anti-pollution activists

Eureka!

I was looking for a way to use my PC screen as background bokeh for miniatures toys and items but I cannot get it black. I going to test using the pol filter.
