More dog park portraits

This is Darby, my nemesis. He believes that the spots of light reflected from watches, cellphones, and especially cameras, have magical properties and must be followed everywhere.

Jake the pug. Skippy loves him.

Mo the pug, who's not a fan of cameras.

Snoop the chow mix. Big dogs love slobbering all over his perfect black coat.

Nalya the wolf mix. She's really nice, but sometimes she starts howling, and it sets the entire park off.

Charlie the Great Dane. He's a big 'un.

Quinn, who likes stealing other dog's Chuckit balls. Then again, there aren't many dogs who don't enjoy doing that.

I don't know this one's name, but it was his first time at the dog park.

Always love your dog portraits. Those eyes in the last one!! Love the low POV. Can be a pain to get without a tilt screen.

Many great shots here. Very sharp and clear, plus the amazing POV. You really get an idea of how the dogs see the world from that low angle.

Excellent!

These are absolutely the best. If you are a doggie person, you will understand forever. Just great photographs. Thank you!

The eyes on that Dachshund really got me, too. I never realized how huge the eyes are on some of these small dogs until I started doing this.

About the tilt-screen, it's really not hard with a 13mm lens. Just point in the general direction and off you go!

Thanks! I have more fun with this than any other type of photography I do.

Thanks very much. The park doesn't look like much until you see it like the dogs see it.

I love Charlie. Despite his size, he's very good at sneaking up on me. I don't know he's there until I feel his nose on my elbow. He doesn't have to reach up to do that, either.

Wow, thanks! I don't know what I would do without dogs in my life.
