That is lovely Garreth. Nice lines leading toward the lighthouse and beautiful sky reflecting nicely on the water.

I'm debating about maybe taking out the ripples to the left of the lighthouse to smooth the water out a bit ??

I don't know that the ripples do any more than provide a leading line to the lighthouse point, myself. Very nice shot.

What a nice picture.

I sold my DA 35mm f2.4 because I wasn't happy with the color it produced. Now it's obvious that the fault location was not in the front of the camera body, but instead behind of the camera.

The texture of the ripples is a lot more interesting than the uniformity in the top of the sky. So I would leave them in, but you could play with the cropping until the overall balance between colors and textures seems right.
