Twilight in the Bakar Bay
Lens: Pentax DA L 18-55 WR Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Bakarac, Croatia ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F22
Posted By: SkipperRi, 02-04-2014, 12:52 AM

Yesterday, I went to the one of the beautiful bays in my county. There was (again!) extreme strong wind and very cold (about 2 degrees Celsius), but even in that conditions, with tripod I managed to shot some photos. Only problem is - my remote died. But, Pentax K-3 is did amazing job!

Those are really pretty. Especially like the second one as it seems so natural with the rocks and the beautiful smooth water, and then the nice lights of the buildings in the background. Great work!!

Those long exposures really work especially in the second shot. Sorry about your remote.

Thank you, my friend. Also, I think that the remote is OK, today worked just fine. Probably the problem is related to the battery. Even if remote is dead, it was so cheap, 1.99$. It's IR remote, I have one wired, and that one work perfectly.

A couple of great shots.

Do me a wee favour and tweak the horizon in the first, down of the left a bit.

Thanks. What do you exactly mean by tweaking, I'm not sure if I understood.

Ah, that... Frankly, I'm lucky that I managed any kind of shot that evening, because there was so cold and windy. In one moment I was sure that wind will blow off me, tripod, camera...

I'm not asking you to risk life and limb here, or even go back and retake, just a little bit of PP in the warm and dry that's all.
