The window...

Not everything in the city is glass and steel and concrete.
I cloned out a major distraction of a surface applied electrical wire but left the diagonal shadow of the overhead wire purposely.
C&C appreciated.

Nice! Looks very warm and Mediterranean. Where is it? I can't tell on quick inspection where you cloned out the wire, I think that was a good call. I needed a nice warm scene on a cold winter morning...

Very pleasant shot here. I almost consider the photo frame as part of the image.

There is a linear shadow on the left lower corner. Maybe clone that out too?

St. Petersburg, Russia.

Thank you. I hope that my talent with photo editing would not be readily spotted or I would have failed.

There is a horizontal section of asphalt that I see above the cornice line but I don't see the offending shadow. Am I missing something?

Or do you refer to the glimpse of light colored wall beneath the shadow of the cornice?

Thank you all for your comments.

That would be me.

I assumed it would be unethical to post anyone else's photos, correct?

great shot once again, clarence!

when I first looked at it my first impression was the lighting is to harsh, but now that I had another look at the strong shadow of the round frame, it seems to works great.

nice work!

cheers

Nicely done! I would take the cloning a step further and remove that tiny bit of wall colour peeking through on the bottom left.

Those shadows and lines are great.

Correctly!

I did not doubt of authorship, I was surprised to trip to that country...

The best regards!

P.S.It is interesting to whom to have free-of-charge "competitor" of program Photoshop - program GIMP?
Through my site "Erased a hieroglyph" (... new, interesting sites, P, next, GIMP (a site of the developer) it is possible to leave on site GIMP and to download the latest version of this program

Thank you all for your comments and helpful suggestions. I can see how the finished product could be improved.

Prizmatic, no offense taken and I apologize if my return remark offended. I have traveled a bit, though not as much as some others on this forum.
