Is the painting upside down? The top has a lot more blur than the bottom.

Thanks, Yes the original photo was cropped, unsharped(?), flipped vertically, rotated on z axis, canvas expanded, empty border filled with brown color, then airbrush tool used to put light squiggle lines on border to simulate wood grain effect.
I would have liked to have done a better job simulating wood grain. I prolly should have taken the time, to use real wood photo. sigh
