Here is a macro I did of my soon-to-be-cleaned bicycle derailleur and chain.

Click on the image for the LARGE version!

Lots of texture and detail from the FA50mm and K3!

Interesting picture, Lauren - a few days ago I clean the derailleurs and chains our bikes, so this scene is very familiar to me!

That's rather a good detailed shot.

As you say its time for the mechanic in a can, good old WD 40, cleans most things with just a wipe.

Super detailed, It is always cool when you can get such an interesting shot from everyday items.

I am shooting a "tool metaphor" for a work short, and I couldn't resist taking a few macro shots!

The K3 and a good lens blows the doors off anything I have ever used before.
There is more detail than I ever could use!!!

Don't worry - no need to clean the bike. Just edit it out in Photoshop!

I *just* finished doing the clean/overhaul!
Ugh..there was more that I needed to clean/fix up than I originally thought!

New cables, and a total tear down was on order today!!!

Tomorrow I will have the *after" pics!
