Weird stuff
Lens: DA*300mm Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Oleano SP, Florida
Posted By: slowpez, 02-08-2014, 08:29 AM

One of those times I decided to walk around with the DA*300 thinking I might see a bird or two. All I saw was weird stuff.

A stump

Old Man's Beard

Palm frond. I wish I would quit photographing these. I have hundreds of them.

Some kind of water thing with peaty colors.

Interesting, the 300 pulls in the viewpoint, so you see things you would perhaps normally miss.

Nice weird stuff, Susan. The stump is trying to be a giant insect or a diseased frog. Or maybe something else. The water thing has beautiful colors. Thanks.

I like the golden water, I haven't quite worked out who the stump reminds me of though

Great shots, I always find grandfather's beard to be an interesting subject (and am still confused how it grows without soil)

That first one is weird, Susan. Makes me think of a smiling cat!
