Great first image, and you're making me feel all warm and toasty despite the giant snowpiles throughout Toronto.

Thanks all! In the first and third, a lot of the effect comes from the "floe edge", the limit of the ice reaching down into Hudson's Bay. The sun-dog is a result of the 'warm' water of the Bay rising off the surface.

Along with most others here I will nominate #1 and #3 as best of a wonderful set. We don't get much chance to photgraph snow where I am and am quite happy to let others do it.
