How about some lens flare. Artificial via Gimp filter though.

Michael, it appears you have a flair for flare.

I've taken photos that I would have trashed had not the flare been interesting.

Thanks all for commenting. Now that I have the Gimp flare mastered, I should learn how to make it flare with camera skill. Any suggestions? Small or Large aperature?
