Some thread titles get me curious and some make me wonder if I really should proceed. I'm glad the photos weren't what I expected to see. Around here all the tree skeletons are just that - lots of broken branches from the ice storm, and many debranched trunks waiting to be removed and replanted in the spring. Glad I stopped by.

The way I see it, EM is that you photograph the good (at which you are a master) and I'll take care of the bad and the ugly, for which I occasionally (and unpredictably) exhibit a certain facility .

Great tree shots Jer. The first one is my favorite. I am a sucker for bare branches. Good series.

right up my alley jer.... always thought tree branches make fantastic subjects... no two the same....

Dave - I'm glad you dig 'em. This sort of thing is not for everyone, but I really like making photos like these. I'm sure glad I have a cohort!
