In Lima, Ohio the most famous restaurant in a burger joint called the Kewpee. It's been around a long time and is very popular, this is the oldest of their three stores in Lima, built in 1928.

Agree on that - it gives the place a sense of context and history which isn't there in the first two pics.

fun to view, reminds me of my parents business in the fifties where we had car hops on roller skates and other cool stuff. Happy Days for sure growing up as a kid.

The third is my favorite. I'll have a burger with a side of fries to go please.

Save room for a slice of pie -- they always had a good selection and I'm guessing they still do.

I remember Kewpee well. Good burgers and as baro-nite said, good pie to follow.

Thank you.
My dad used to take us there for Saturday lunch...in my memory, the burgers were great.
One of the few truly distinctive sights left from my childhood.

Yes they still do, they call this month Februcherry and next month is Marchocolate. My wife loves the cherry, I split between the cherry and the pecan.

They are good, they can be a little greasy, but they are tasty.

I figured this would give you some memories if you've lived in or near Lima. The one constant in Lima, well the prices do go up. And they did and french fries in the last 30 years, and they have Pepsi, I'm pretty sure it used to be Coke.
