Lovely series and narration. Got a bit of a twinge thinking of the desperation of the defensive positions of the Red Army in those days and the courage of the comrades of both sexes who gave themselves to the cause.

Nice captures ZZ, its also always nice to get a history lesson with the photos as well.

I really like the choice of B&W for these. The first one is really beautiful.

Great photos - love them both in colour and B&W. The third last photo in the original series (first in the colour) would have to be my favourite - great work. The sun looks really big in some of these shots!

I quite like the BW , sun is perfectly exposed not something you see often in sunsets.
