Spring and Bug Season: Another VL125 Macro Thread
Posted By: aegisphan, 04-14-2008, 04:48 PM

I know that James has a similar VL125 bug shot thread. I don't intend to hijack the thread. But today, when I went to a local park for little insect hunting, all of my shots happened to be taken by the VL125 . And I'm really amazed with the K20D at ISO 400; they look the same as my K10D's ISO 100. I'm happy with this combo so far. All were taken with available light only, no flash. I guess I need to make a macro diffuser for the built-in flash, I missed some shots cause the shutter was too darn slow.

These shots were resized by Picasa down to 800xXXX

Wow, these are really nice shots. Shots like these tempt me to look for a good macro lens.

Thanks Scott. All dedicated macros are good, especially when stop down. So you should give in to your LBA, and get yourself one .
