Agreed on that. The EXIF data shows you were shooting at 48mm. I wonder if it would be worth taking the shot on the same visual angle, but using a wider part of the lens (i.e. closer to 18mm) so that you could be in front of the street light? Not sure if it would be a better or worse image, but I think it would have a very different feel and focus.

Seen right corner of the wall of the Historical Museum, and here you can see, if you go to the right 50 m:
