This is as close to a landscape shot as I've taken in a long time.

On my way to work this morning I saw a three-legged coyote making his way along the ice on the River. As he/she was approximately 1/4 mile away, what I would normally have liked to be a strange wildlife shot turned into a strange landscape. The mist is where the open water is meeting the frigid air. This section of the River will be frozen over by Thursday.

Next time you see a sliver haired gentleman driving a motor home with a Honda in tow, ask him and he will tell you in no uncertain terms all about that white stuff.
