going out for dinner
Lens: Sigma 1.4/30 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Tokyo ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F8

After spending a few days in northern China (temperatures around -30°C/-20F) I am in Tokyo for 3 days.
This is a shot of one of the many little restaurants you can find everywhere, especially in the Ginza area.
I greatly enjoy eating in places like this. Definetely not the typical "standard" food you can have in all major cities around the world.

Still I look forward to fly home on tuesday.

Simply a beautiful picture, it looks really cosy and inviting. Fantastic textures and a magic light.
Thanks for sharing!

I'd love to eat there, a great character shot of the establishment.

Very nice - the tonal range looks to be about perfect for such difficult light.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, much appreciated.
Some may think it is strange to go out for dinner with a tripod, but I think it was worth the effort.
Take care
