Thanks... I did have to crop it. He was the height of the telephone pole plus a few feet away

Can't tell you how many of these shots I missed and the birds were closer, low light.... Aghh.

Well, if you don't click the shutter a bunch of times, you won't ever get great photos like this.

It has a pleasant softness about it, and the background colors and saturation are a great complement to the bluebird. I'd be very happy with that shot.
