I've seen other aquatic animals airborne before but never manta. Glad you posted these.

I'm not sure anyone knows quite why they jump, but it's not uncommon.

Very cool I have seen this first hand in Costa Rica and man it was soooo cool there were hundreds of them.

Saw a nat geo show on jumping mantas not too long ago. Evidently they caught a rare event when hundreds gathered and began jumping all over the place. Would love to have seen them in action. You are lucky to have been there at the right time and place.
