After the Storm

A passing storm produced this double bow, photo taken form our campground in Spearfish SD.

As pretty as rainbows can be, it is the lighting for the rest of the scenery that has me hooked. It's like you had some weird filter on the camera, except I know that you didn't. Kind of like those times when it rains on only half the street.

Double rainbow! Was it all the way?
Nice capture, its hard to make the rainbow show up in a photograph so clearly

Nice shot, makes me think of the video where the guy goes absolutely nuts over a double rainbow.

Marc, the sun was just peaking through the clouds and you can see where it was hitting and was not, made for quite a surreal sight for us. One moment we had 80mph winds due to a tornado passing close to us and the next moment it was dead still. It sat down about 3 miles from us so we felt very fortunate.

Yes, complete on both sides and the other side was so close to us it looked like you could go out into the bow. Really beautiful to be so close.

I found the other part of the rainbow, our motorhome is parked right in front of the near trees, so you can see how close this was to us. Quite surreal
