Just lovely EM. I don't know how much you normally post process, and rare do you post a photo that I think could be shown in a better light, BUT,
the flower here is so delicate and soft and somewhat distracted by the background - any chance you could make it black?

I felt the background was dark enough not to distract.

It is - I realized after I posted that my problem was with the whitish petals behind the rose on the right hand side which aren't so subtle.

okay, they didn't bother me so I didn't remove them but it wouldn't be too hard to do.

I'm not sure they bother me enough to force the issue. If I recall correctly, you recently had posted a few with solid black backgrounds and probably only because of that did I think of the same treatment here.

Sometimes I apply a black b/g to aid the shot.
