Russian "Х" stands for "Ch" in "Christ"
Russian "В" stands for "R" in "Risen"

all together sounds like:
"Christ is Risen! Indeed He has!" or
"Christ ist erstanden! Er ist wahrlich erstanden!"

I have my b&w day today and I like this a lot. Maybe it is the smooth shape of the egg and the tree with angular branches too. There is a nice tension between them.
