A Few Geese on Capitol Lake

They were a bit stacked up toward the South end due to the wind.

Probably not. Most Canada Geese don't migrate anymore. They are such a nuisance in NY now that the bag limit has been raised to 15 a day, and there is an extended season.

I don't even want to think about what the sidewalk around that lake looks like. Awesome number of birds.

Yep. By the time Spring comes around they are so bold that you actually bump them as you walk through. Avoiding their, um, er, "leavings" is impossible.

Geese are really good eating, but fat free they aren't. Geese, and ducks are quite fatty.

What even the lean, mean, flying machine, long distance type varieties.

I'd thought they'd would have burned off all the fat, if not, I'm giving up all this exercise nonsense immediately.
