I am going back to shoot some more (read beter ones from the Purper heron)

Great species and the perch and composition could NOT be better.

Congratulations.

Great action and sharpness in the Purper (Purple?) Heron shots, but I'm not too fussy on the BG. Looks like difficult lighting.

The owl shot is stunning Walter. Great is every detail. I agree with Tom that the lighting is difficult in the 2 Purple Heron shots even with that the second one is still a great shot.

typo from me. The light was indeed terrible will go back with an evening sun.

These are wonderful photos - especially the owl. I also like the second heron shot a great deal. Your website, however, is full of breathtaking shots. Congratulations!
