Great clear, very nicely coloured shot. But the mountain's annoyed you cut off its head.

Nice shot - a better angle than I got of the dam from the other side!

It's hard to believe that WA can be so green one side of the Cascades and so dry the other,

Never underestimate the kit lens. Clear and sharply detailed shot. Good job.

Yep, I almost left the aspect ratio at 3:2, but there were floats in the foreground that were distracting, and there are transmission towers on top of the hill that were really distracting.
I just felt I had to chop em out!

That is the widest lens I have and I needed ALL of that to get this shot. Not a bad lens. One of my favorites.

BTW, the security on the dam is incredible! I recall years ago driving across, but now they have the dam itself gated off and no one gets near it without special permission. Armed guards, cameras, patrols. I think they may be concerned about terrorist tourists packing it off in the trunk of a car. :-)
