People Deep Blue

My latest series from the home studio, called Deep Blue. Model is Kelly Sucio and makeup artist is Effi Papadopoulou. Shot with K-5 and FA77.

Very much prefer the third image for its posing and the inclusion of some of her top adds to the deep blue theme and only helps accentuate her eyes.

Well done, bonnie lassie with flawless skin, either by make or PP I don't care which, this is top quality, especially that last image.

Great sharp photos. Like the third one the best. From the first one I thought you were about to say 'and then she turned around and said EXTERMINATE!'

There is always skin retocuh involved, but in this case I shot at a relatively wide aperture (for studio) so much of the blir comes from shallow DoF. Also, working with a makeup artist and soft light does help. I wanted a softer look in these images, but it would have been too soft for a "standard" portrait (whatever that is)
