This is a nice photo. when I point a camera at my family they run like they have criminal records or something.

You get that too? Mine just hide behind each other or inside their clothing.

Agreed. I like half lit faces as a different style of portraiture.

Thank you. I think both the gf and I are getting better at taking portrait photos. The hardest part is the pose. Got to make it look natural but also interesting at the same time.

It does not the test portrait at all. It's a very good picture composition.
