Spring Tweets
Lens: 55-300 WR Camera: K-30

Productive walk with our dog this evening. Chilly, but great sunlight. The bird chatter has been increasing in volume lately. K-30 + 55-300 WR.

Nicely focused and cute birds! Had to be hard to focus right on the little feather-balls, instead of the tangle of branches around them!

Nice shots, I have always found the scientific name for the robin quite funny turdus migratorius

That is more than likely the child in me that giggles when I see robins

I actually switched to MF for the Cardinals because of the branches.

Thanks for that. Now I know what I'll be thinking every time I see one . . . which is about every day.

I envy you your cardinals. Lovely shots. The chickadees here have added their 2 note spring song to the usual winter cickadee-dee-dee. Yippee!

The color on the male cardinal is gorgeous. Spring red.

Finally got a few Jay pics. I'm certain they can see me through the window, no matter how much I try to sneak up on them, because my first few attempts ended in the Jays bolting as soon as I raised the camera. This one's not an award winner, but it will do for starts.
