Nice catch!

I used to live in Alberta and we often saw the Bighorn Sheep (and much less often the rare Mountain goat).
Is this the "female version" of the Bighorn ?

I think yes, this may be a female. I have no idea how to discern a young male from a female, unless they would be willing to stand for an examination. That would seem highly unlikely.
