Intersting shot, maybe you could chop off the top above the truck?

Very evocative and effective capture. You could crop off some of the top portion. Give the toy more prominance.

Agree about the crop. The photo is evokes a very sad feeling. Good job.

I like what this photo says, but it gives rise to the crop question. which I have trouble with. I like seeing how far down the toy traveled to get to where it is. The space at the top tells me that the toy traveled down and landed where it is and there it just sits now. To me it seems that if cropped that space is not visible rendering the photo more 'artlike', and uncropped is more documentary of the actual situation.

A howling child would have had me climbing down after it, if it was humanly possible to reach.

Thanks for all the crop commentary and I must admit that sherrvonne described my motives very well. The back story is that this is the result of flooding that we see frequently on our greenway hikes along the Little Sugar Creek. Both banks were covered with large amounts of debris this week as a result of snow melt a week ago. The basketballs, footballs, tennis balls, and hundreds of plastic bags 5 to 6 up in the backside shrubbery tends to make me believe it was a flood victim. Thanks again for your suggestions.
