Well I have done quite a few favors for some of my amercian friends over the last year or so. A few weeks ago I asked if they would do me a favor.

Today delivered to my door no less

Let's open it up !

Gotcha but you were kinda expecting this weren't ya

I am pumped ! I have a few RSP shots ,appears fast ,sharp and silent .I won't be able to get out for some real shots today anyway.

If it is not obvious the reason for the US purchases it is $$ realted , I saved between $200 - $300 now I have half of the dynamic duo - just need a good copy of the DA* 16-50.

Congrats Dave. look forward to seeing your latest shots. Ken.
Thanks Ken weather is suppose to suck this week - but there will be lots of time ! It is not a focal range I use much so I will have to learn and pratice. I tend to shoot wide and or long lookigng forward to some new challenges.

Congratulations Dave. Look forward to seeing the images. Are you at the point where you need a bigger bag for carrying all those lenses yet?
Thanks Paul it is funny you should mention that - with LBA comes new bags. Since my venture into DSLR I have bought two bags and this last lens puts me over the top to carry everything in one bag (although maybe I could work it out ) but I suspect there will be more LBA !

Ah, what a feeling it is to un-sheath the beast for the 1st time I hope you will absolutely love this lens as much as I do
Thanks Tom I am really looking forward to some color here and a few trips to the mountians this summer ! Form the few test shots , sharp, QUIET and seems to AF a little faster ...but hardly sceintific tests may be just liking it so much

Dave, Oh what a feeling!!!! I bet you must feel like a kid with a new toy.No doubt we will see some great results forthcoming. I get the feeling I am getting left behind in this lba thing
Anyway, enjoy.
Thanks Bruce - you are not behind in LBA Pentax has glass as old as I am and they are continuing to release new models - so there has to be some lag time in there for all of us ! consider it a time out for now

You should be pumped, Dave. Man - as I told Tom - if I had your money, I'd through mine away.

Have fun and post pictures.
