Ice Beings
Posted By: tessfully, 02-27-2014, 07:07 AM

One day I will be chasing bees and butterflies. For now, my subjects are frozen in place (as were my hands). Thank you for looking

couldn't decide which angle I liked best, the one above I was below looking into the sky, the following image was more on par and got the colours and reflections of the woods in behind

A fantastic eye for detail combined with the ability to capture it, is a very powerful combination. I like them all but #2 is simply astonishing in its detail and colour.
Thank you so much Bruce!!!

Tess,

After looking at your work I think, when it comes to nature, that we are of one mind...

... nature is always speaking to us in it's gentle quiet way if we would only listen.

You out did yourself this time - excellent.

Wildman

You must not know too much, or be too precise or scientific about birds and trees and
flowers and water-craft; a certain free margin, and even vagueness - perhaps ignorance,
credulity - helps your enjoyment of these things...
Walt Whitman
I agree completely Wildman, and thank you for the lovely comments and compliment.

some interesting shapes & well captured, I like the 2nd one - looks ot me like some kind of sea creature riding on a wave , but others may see something different
cheers
thanks Cee Cee... I do see the sea creature!!! Originally I thought Phoenix Rising.

Wonderfully imaginative, Tess. The first one, especially, is captivating.
