Ladybug attacking an aphid

Lady bug on our roses, going after the aphids.... taken with Bellows+SuperTak 55/1.8 @ f/16,

Oh that is excellent. I have a bellows and that lens. How did you light the gruesome scene?
And how far was the bellows extended, if you remember? It is sharp as a tack.

That is an incredible shot. You even managed to capture the little aphid in the shot

About 3/4s extended if I recall. Lit with my 540 flash, off camera, handheld quite near the action (a few inches away), fired with the V2s Cactus Gadget Infinity trigger..

Great capture! I love the action, the lighting and the detail. You make me want to go outside and shoot bugs... wait... no bugs yet
