Approaching Storm
Lens: Pentax DA 17-70 mm Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Buttonwillow, CA

The first is an almond orchard shortly before a storm, near the small town of Buttonwillow, California. It really start coming down just a few moments after I took this. Buttonwillow is in the San Joaquin Valley not far to the northwest of Bakersfield.

After the storm passed, getting late in the day, I shot the next two while driving back to Los Angeles on side roads.

looks like you have all of them covered as I think the second is perfect in b/w, very moody and well shot.

A great sky in the first image, I'd have that on a separate layer in PS for recycling into other images too.

That first shot is really lovely. You guys are really getting hammered with rain now. Hope the damage from mudslides is minimal.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments.
Kerrowdown, yes I'm adding this to my extensive collection of sky layers. Thanks!
