Great series!

These really caught my attention. I didn't realize there were kestrels in the Netherlands.

Well-timed, well-focussed- just all-round great shots.

Great capture and so clear. I'd love to get a big lens.

That second shot in the series is stunning, but all are excellent. Great sequence of shots.

Great series of shots. This is a hard bird to capture at times as they move fast. Glad you had the light to stop the motion. I love it when they get the rodents.

Whaddaya mean, not good enough?!? Those little guys move so fast, I'm very impressed that you got the entire sequence. I really like the third, with the bird nearly disappearing from the frame - it really emphasizes the speed with which they dive. And to actually get it lifting off with its prey - wow. Even the inset is impressive - you can see the critter's (vole? lemming?) little foot, even. Have you considered having the printed, and framing them vertically, all in one frame with a nice mat? I think it'd look smashing.

Not good enough? At 200mph, I'd say that's pretty darn good! I'd be jumping for joy and bragging if those were my photos. Excellent series, can't wait to see a series of yours that you call good

@Julie: will make one, good idea!

@photochop: I do not have such series from birds, maybe one but with storks made with panasonic FZ30, but I like the buzzard I posted here too.
