Landscape or Portrait version ?

A couple of shots taken yesterday whilsy hiking around the Snowdonia mountains. I'd appreciate feedback on which version you prefer ?

For me it is the portrait version because it draws you in instead of making your eye wander to see the elements in the picture.

Portrait.

In landscape the mountains on the horizon look relatively un-interesting and 'flat', but in Portrait they look like....well, mountains, and very imposing ones at that.

Dont you hate it when u look at a image for to long u dont know wot u like anymore

Like them both Simon, perhaps the portrait a little more on balance. Think perhaps the portrait would have worked even better if you could have zoomed out/stepped back just a touch.

Being a waterfall, its #2 (portrait) for me. No criticism of the first shot which is a great shot in itself, but I just feel the portrait format really is spot on.
